SWA Honored for Excellence in the Projects Category under the Expenditure Efficiency Program

The Saudi Water Authority (SWA) has been recognized by the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority (EXPRO) for its outstanding performance in the Projects Category as part of the sixth cycle of the Expenditure Efficiency and Sustainability Program for 2025. The recognition ceremony was attended by H.E. Eng. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Abdulkarim, President of the Saudi Water Authority, Mr. Haitham bin Abdulrahman Altraif, Acting CEO of EXPRO, and a number of senior executives from both entities. This recognition comes as a testament to SWA's continued efforts to enhance project management efficiency, integrate modern technologies and supply chain systems, and promote applied research and innovation to improve operational performance. These efforts align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to advance government performance, optimize project delivery, and strengthen service quality while ensuring resource sustainability. SWA has so far achieved notable financial outcomes, generating a positive impact exceeding SAR 11.5 billion, through the adoption of innovative operational practices and advanced technological solutions that have significantly enhanced expenditure efficiency and the sustainable management of water resources.
