The Saudi Water Authority has renewed its call for the public to benefit from the incentive initiative designed to address violations on water and sanitation networks. Launched in May, the initiative continues until August 18 and offers an opportunity for exemption from financial penalties related to such violations.

The Authority emphasized the importance of regularizing all unauthorized connections before the deadline. It noted that the National Water Company provides official channels to facilitate the correction process, including its mobile application and the e-branch portal at: e.nwc.com.sa.

The Authority warned that encroachments on water and sanitation networks negatively affect the fair distribution of water and service delivery. They can also result in reduced water pressure and sewage overflows, posing risks to public health and the environment. The Authority affirmed that legal measures will be taken against any unauthorized connections detected after the deadline.
