SWA, Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University Sign MoU to Advance Research, Academic Training, and Capacity Development

The Saudi Water Authority (SWA), represented by its training arm, the Water Academy, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, represented by the College of Business, to strengthen cooperation in scientific research, training, and capacity development within the water sector.

The MoU encompasses support for academic collaboration through the implementation of specialized training programs, exchange of expertise and knowledge, joint organization of conferences, seminars, and relevant workshops, and the development of educational initiatives aimed at enhancing national capabilities and addressing labor market needs in the water field.

This agreement reflects the Authority’s commitment to fostering academic partnerships, investing in human capital, building competencies, and supporting sustainability goals by preparing qualified professionals capable of meeting sector challenges and promoting innovation in resource management.
