Saudi Water Authority Opens Registration for the Fourth Edition of the 'Tamkeen' Program

The Saudi Water Authority has announced the beginning of registration for the fourth edition of the "Tamkeen" fresh graduate qualification program. This initiative provides recent graduates with bachelor's and master's degrees the opportunity to enhance their professional and personal skills through on-the-job training. Participants will enjoy benefits such as a monthly stipend, medical and social insurance, and paid leave.


Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria, including a minimum GPA of 4 out of 5, 3 out of 4, or 80%, and must successfully pass all personal interviews and designated tests. Registration will remain open until August 17, 2024.


The "Tamkeen" program is a key initiative by the Authority to enrich the water sector with highly qualified and specialised personnel. It aims to attract top talent among recent graduates, offering rewarding career opportunities for those capable of making a significant impact in their fields. The program also supports the Authority's strategic goal of empowering a generation of distinguished young professionals for future leadership.


The program covers various tracks, including artificial intelligence and data, sustainability and environment, talent management, systems and legislation, beneficiary care, water desalination, marketing and communication, research and innovation, information technology and digital transformation, cybersecurity, strategic project management and planning, business continuity and risk management, financial management, supply chains, and creative design.


The previous edition witnessed 150 trainees graduate from universities across the Kingdom, spanning 15 fields and 22 sectors. Interested candidates can register for the new edition of the program through the Authority's website at the following link: https://www.swa.gov.sa/en/tamkeen.
